Saudi Foreign Minister criticized the Security Council for rejecting the Gaza ceasefire resolution
According to Subak website, he said this while addressing the peace conference held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
The foreign minister has said that he regrets the failure of the Security Council so far to end the tension.
He has said that "we demand the opening of corridors for the provision of humanitarian aid in Gaza".
He has said that "the international community demands that Israel be forced to comply with international human rights".
According to 'SPA', while addressing the Foreign Minister at the summit, he said that the tragic events taking place in Palestine require that the military operations there be stopped immediately.
Full protection should be provided to the Palestinian citizens, the release of hostages and prisoners should be ensured based on international regulations and common humanitarian principles.
The Foreign Minister regretted that the United Nations Security Council has not taken a firm stand on the Gaza crisis so far. Condemned the failure to pass a resolution regarding the ceasefire in Gaza.
He called for the immediate opening of safe corridors, allowing the evacuation of the injured and facilitating the delivery of relief supplies.
